Q: What nights are you at the club now?
A: Thurs for students, Saturday's for locals and Friday I have been playing at a venue in Hastings but I have recently moved residencies to Pure in Portsmouth.

Q: What's a big rare tune from your box?
A: Havana, Dance Like That (Loverush UK mix)

Q: What's the crowd like these days?
A: Hot girls and guys, who are a little bit crazy!

Q: Why did you change your name from Paul Barnes?
A: To sound like a premiership star! And Paulo is a little sexier! Just got to work on the tan now!

Q: Tell me briefly about the DJ team, who and why are they playing at Vision?
A: Goose, Basically a local legend who has had Worthing, Brighton and Hastings sewn up for years!
He's resident at the new Amex Stadium (Brighton's home ground and does big events at Fontwell Park too) nuff said!
DJ Sammy, fresh new and exciting DJ who is never scared to take a risk or drop a new track. Big future ahead of him.
Arthur B, who doesn't know Arthur! Big career in big venues and also a very small venue in a field near Chichester! Malta's greatest export!
Benjamin L, when a guy has done 7 or 8 years in a venue, there is a reason for that.
Some people would shout for change, but you have to find a better DJ if you do. Who could do better with that music policy? Who is better on the shout outs? Who is genuinely a better person? I would say nobody out there right now. Ben has given us consistency, loyalty and a high standard of entertainment. When Rewind launched on Saturdays downstairs we changed the music policy to 1990-2005 and Ben totally ripped up his old musical rule book and embraced the new way the session was moving forward. That's why this guy hold down his place in the team.

Q: What are you drinking these days?
A: At work it is always Pussy Natural Energy. Natural caffeine buzz. At home it's WKD Red or Brahma imported lager.

Q: Fave TV shows?
A: Celebrity Juice and X-Factor.

Q: Who's your favourite contestant on x-factor?
A: The Estelle's... all of them!

Q: Are they going to win?
A: No, but they look good!

Benjamin L

A local grown talent, Ben started DJ-ing back in 1998 and has honed his skills by working at a number of venues in and around London and the South East with Lloyds bar in Chichester, Croydon and Chelmsford, Walkabout in Shepherd's Bush, Wimbledon and Portsmouth, McCluskys in Kingston, Tru Brighton and Oceana Brighton to name but a few!

We (Vision Nightclub) managed to sign this 'in-demand' DJ back in 2003 to bring his exclusive feel to our then Friday nights, as always Ben bossed the nights and soon made it his own, before moving onto the clubs main stage - Saturday Nights, where the crowd have been loving him ever since!

As well as Vision Nightclub Ben currently holds a residency at Lloyds bar in Romford on a Thursday and Friday which are 2 of the busiest nights in town!

DJ Arthur B

Arthur has been rocking the house for the last 10+years in various clubs up and down the country including Ritzys, 5th Avenue, Bar Blu, Liquid & Envy (Portsmouth), Orianas (Brighton), Amadeus (Rochester), Illusions and Liquid Lounge (Worthing) to name but a few! Specialising in party and commercial cheese Arthur is also a master at spinning R'n'B, Dance, Hip-hop, Garage and Old Skool Classics! In 2000-2001 Arthur worked heavily with MC KIE to producing UK Garage tunes including the famous 'PREACH'. As a DJ I have been lucky enough to work with some of the big names in music and T.V including Take That (before they made it big)! as well as some of the T.V stars from Eastenders and Neighbours! I have also had the pleasure to develop my sets by working alongside many top named DJ's like Aaron Lewison-White, DJ EZ , Laura Love, Pied Piper (DO YOU REALLY LIKE IT!) Jazz, So Solid Crew (21 SECONDS), Swingsta, Wide Boys (SAMBUCA), Mark Shepherd, Dane Bowers, DJ Fish, Boy George, Paul Birdseye, Carl Cox, Damon Newton, Brandon Block.

After 23yrs of DJ-ing up and down the country the South Coast has always been my favourite place, I'm looking forward to working at Vision Nightclub as part of the team on Fridays plus I am happy to be raising the standard of Friday nights in Bognor Regis. In 1995 Arthur B headlined an event with Strike, Nightcrawlers, Mn8 and Clock! He showed them all up when he got on the decks by dropping Coolio's Gangsta's Paradise and ramming the dancefloor.

DJ Goose

DJ Goose - what a name, what a guy!!! The Goose fell in love with the glitzy heights of the Dj-ing lifestyle at an early age, straight out of school he was master of the mobile disco, soon growing out of that style of Dj-ing his talents took him into the club-land at just 21. Goose has just about worked everywhere including the white Isle - Ibiza and numerous London hotspot venues!! He's also dipped his big hairy toe in the world of radio and even graced the hallow decks of the Radio 1 Roadshow Lorry (having said that, it was for PLASA and not actually Radio 1).

Goose runs the Friday night show and with it being a proper old sckool 80's, 90's and NOW set you can expect plenty of DJ banter on the mic all adding to the quality party atmosphere! Goose also one half of the Thursday night 'Re-Tox' set-up, taking the stage in our downstairs retro, party room with DJ 'Barnesey' taking care of business upstairs and is now also club resident DJ for our huge under 18 events, playing the up-front tunes the kid culture demand, Goose works with various guests PA's and DJ's at these once a month events and has helped turn PULSE into one of the biggest under 18 nights on the south coast.

DJ Sammy

Local lad Sam is the newest resident DJ on the Vision roster! Every other week Sam kicks the party of early doors at our pre-club bar 'The Conservatory' from 8pm-10pm, bringing in his own style to the already established Saturday night session!! Sam loves his time at Vision (and who wouldn't) and as well as learning his trade on the decks, Sam also manages the clubs main lighting rig and new laser cannon during our massive Thursday night student events!

As well as quickly building his DJ reputation and enjoying his professional nightclub role at Vision, Sam also has a variety of other hobbies which mainly include drinking beer, partying and then drinking some more beer whilst partying - 'The guys a Legend in the making.'

Paul Shep

Sheps is the newest member to team Vision, joining Sam in our 'Conservatory Bar' Saturday night pre-club sessions. Join Sheps every other Saturday from 9pm!!! With his years of experience in the club and many years on the Vision dancefloors, you can guarantee he knows exactly how to get the party started!! Born and breed in Bognor, Sheps likes to spend his spare time with a beer in hand with a cheeky smile on his face, and for this we gave him the well-deserved the title of Mr. Vision in 2010.
